Introduction
Almanak introduces a new on-chain, algorithmic model for launching a token. This model is powered by Almanak’s Strategy Builder and the code-based Execution Layer, built on two foundational components that work together but remain distinct: Almanak Games and The Pledge Movement.
- Almanak Games are the core engine of the launch, driving on-chain activity, competition, and token price action.
- The Pledge Movement is a voluntary commitment to hold your tokens through the end of the year, aligning the community towards a common effort, strengthening the Almanak Games’ success, and expanding its reward pool.
Both contribute to the launch’s momentum, but they serve different purposes. The Games determine how rewards are earned. The Pledge enhances those rewards and stabilizes the environment they operate within.
Almanak Games
The Almanak Games will run from December 15th until January 31st and serve as the main competitive mechanism of the token launch. They are an on-chain trading and liquidity competition powered by Almanak’s AI Swarm Strategy Builder and the code-based Execution Layer.
All eligible activity must:
- Involve $ALMANAK, and
- Be executed through Almanak Wallets.
Participants deploy strategies that trade, hold, or provide liquidity using $ALMANAK. All actions are tracked algorithmically, with rewards distributed based on performance and participation.
Almanak Games reward pools include stablecoins, tokens, and emissions that scale with community engagement.
The Pledge Movement
The Pledge Movement is open before Games begin and can be taken by any future $ALMANAK holder. It has zero costs, no lockups, and tokens remain fully under the holder’s control.
By pledging, users commit to keeping their $ALMANAK TGE allocation in the same wallet through the end of the year.
The Pledge Movement strengthens the token launch by:
- Expanding Games reward pools
- Stronger game dynamics
- Aligning participants for TGE
Breaking the Pledge simply revokes the perks. It has no penalties beyond that.
How Games and Pledging Connect
Although the two systems are separate, the Pledge directly influences the Almanak Games:
A committed base of Pledgers entering the Almanak Games creates stronger momentum. This improves conditions for every participant and increases the total rewards available.
The Almanak Games determine how rewards are earned. The Pledge Movement determines how big those rewards can become.
