Quick Start

This guide will walk you through the process of creating your first DeFi Strategy and Deployment on the Almanak platform. By the end, you'll have a fully functional Deployment actively executing a trading strategy on either Base or Arbitrum.

Prerequisites​

  • About $10 USD worth of ETH on either Base or Arbitrum

Step 1: Create a Strategy​

  1. First, navigate to Strategy Builder in the Almanak dashboard.
  2. Click "New Project" and select the "Technical Trading" strategy template.
  3. Select your desired chain
  4. Find the asset you want to trade on the chain
  5. Select a strategy type (like RSI momentum) and set the parameters for your strategy
  6. Click "Create Strategy"
  7. Enable "YOLO Mode" to let the Agents create the strategy without any additional input from you
  8. That's it!Sit back and watch while the Agents create the strategy for you

Step 2: Deploy the Strategy​

Once the Agents have finished creating the strategy, you will now deploy it to start trading on-chain.

  1. Click on the Deploy On-chain button at the top left in the Strategy Builder.
  2. Give your Deployment a name and select the network you want to deploy to. Then click "Next".
  3. Select the default strategy preset. Review the preset, or simply click "Next".
  4. Select the wallet you want to use for the deployment. If you don't have a wallet yet, you can create one by clicking "Create New Wallet" and walking through thew wallet creation process.
  5. Prepare the wallet by topping up gas fees and depositing the required assets into the wallet. Click "Next".
  6. Click "Grant Permissions" to grant the deployment permission to perform the necessary strategy actions on your behalf. Sign the transaction.
  7. Finally, review your Deployment. Once you're ready, click "Deploy Strategy"!

Your strategy is now deployed and ready to start trading! Browse your strategy dashboard and historical transactions to watch your strategy in action.
